I Won't Give Up

Life is getting crazier. Itulah jawaban dari pertanyaan kenapa saya lama tidak update blog. I know right away that life is not that easy. Sometimes I really want to quit the fight. Paling susah adalah ketika kita sedang didera masalah yang begitu berat, kita juga harus menjadi penolong buat mereka yang sedang didera masalah. Profesi dokter menuntut kita untuk multi talented. Mungkin Tuhan mau menunjukkan sesuatu hikmat buat saya. Beberapa kali saya mendapat pasien yang ada kaitannya dengan ilmu psikiatri/kejiwaan, sesekali ada pasien depresi, neurosis, ataupun psikosis. Saya harus berusaha untuk menjadi teman bicara bagi pasien yang tiba-tiba curhat mengenai masalah pribadinya, yang akhirnya diketahui bahwa keluhannya muncul dari kondisi mentalnya. Dari sini saya disadarkan kembali bahwa tiap orang diberikan ujian sesuai dengan porsinya, tidak kurang dan tidak lebih. Begitu pula dengan saya, Tuhan pasti mengijinkan semua yang terjadi dalam hidup saya karena Dia tahu saya bisa melewatinya.

Suatu ketika saya sampai di satu titik dimana saya benar-benar ingin menyerah. Thing's a lil bit crazier at that time. Hal kecil menjadi besar. Lagi-lagi dia yang menjadi sasaran tembaknya. Walau setelah perdebatan yang cukup alot akhirnya kami saling meminta maaf, dan saya luluh dong waktu dia kirim lagu "I won't give up" dari Jason Mraz ini.

Dasar cewek, dikasih lagu begini doank langsung luluh klepek-klepek lagi. Tapi lagu ini mengingatkan saya lagi, saya tidak akan menyerah pada apapun juga. Seperti Tuhan yang berbicara pada saya melalui saat teduh saya hari ini. "Never, never, never give up!" Yes My Lord, I won't give up for You never give up on working with me. :')
